The department was organized in 2012 in order to increase the activity of fundamental and applied research, including clinical research, aimed at maintaining and strengthening human health and improving the quality of specialized and high-tech medical care.
The department is engaged in fundamental and applied research in the field of reparative bone tissue regeneration, clinical research, adaptation of modern methods of trauma and orthopedic care to patients with severe comorbidity and/or the presence of a concomitant diseases of the blood system, as well as the provision of high-tech and specialized care for diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
