In 2000, Olga Popova graduated from the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy. In 2002 she completed her residency in surgery at the Hematological Research Center. After graduation, she worked as a resident doctor of the surgical department of the NMRC for Hematology where she performed laparoscopic operations: cholecystectomy, splenectomy, appendectomy; thoracotomy with biopsy.
In 2002, she completed her primary specialization in endoscopy at the Department of Endoscopy of the Botkin City Clinical Hospital.
From 2002 to the present, Popova has been working as an endoscopist in the Department of Endoscopy of the NMRC for Hematology.
In 2008 and in 2013, she completed advanced training courses at the N.A. Semashko Central Clinical Hospital No. 4 of the Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation.
Mastered diagnostic methods of endoscopy: esophagogastroduodenoscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy; therapeutic methods: stopping bleeding of the gastrointestinal tract, tracheobronchial tree (TBT), removal of foreign bodies of the gastrointestinal tract and TBT, imposition of endoscopic gastrostomy, puncture tracheostomy, polypectomy, installation of nasoenteral probes for enteral nutrition.
